The DEWALT DCGG571B 20V MAX Lithium Ion Grease Gun Tool Only features a powerful motor that delivers 10,000 max psi to power through clogged grease fittings. It has a high volume pump that pushes up to 5.0 oz./min high flow applications and lets up to 16 cartridges per charge with a single DEWALT 20V MAX Battery 4.0 Ah Battery not included. A variable speed trigger offers exact control of the grease flow and the 42" extra long and adaptable hose is intended for reaching hard to access grease fittings. It has a bright LED light which assists in locating hard to see grease fittings in low light situations and an groundbreaking pump filter screen that prevents dirt and contagion from clogging the pump system. An integrated no mar foot design lets operators to rest the tool on flat surfaces. It also has an air bleeder valve that assists in pump priming after cartridge changes. Includes: one DCGG571B Grease Gun and one Shoulder strap. Battery sold individually. I bought this to lubricate the driveshaft of a 2004 land cruiser. The driveshaft must be lubricated every 5000 miles. The front and rear slip yokes have to be greased to the point where the grease oozes past the seal. If the grease does not pass the seal, the drive shaft will make an annoying clunk sound when starting and stopping. I tried the manual pumps but couldn't get enough pressure to push grease past the seal. The Toyota dealer tried lubricating the driveshaft but still the clunk persisted. I tried this grease gun as a last resort before selling the truck and was pleasantly surprised that it now pushed greased past the seal like Toyota specifies. Clunk is gone. The tool is big, heavy and uncomfortable in comparison to a hand pump. The LED is useless for my function. Easy to load grease and self priming. Bought it as a bare tool in 20 volt format and am happy.This is the best grease gun I own. I have tried pneumatic, and manual grease guns. By far this is well made, and the 20 volt system does the job. I use it to grease road trucks, and where I used to lift the front axles to grease front ends, I do not do it anymore. It has enough pressure to push grease through. Excellent machine. Dewalt's grease gun was a priceless tool for me and my crew. The equipment we use is arguably put through some of the most acute environments and abuse of any business. Having a cordless grease gun simplified preventative maintenance caused by the ease and speed of the gun. Less wear and tear is being noticed because everything gets serviced on a regular basis and quickly. One of the best tools in my box, great value and quality.
